Challenges?
Yes, we’re probably completely mad. First we go out and buy an ancient car for less than the price of a meal out with friends, planning to drive it hundreds of miles with only a McGuyver tool-kit to help us, and then we introduce challenges too?
Well, it’d be boring if we just drove from point A to point B using the most direct route possible. It’d be short too, and the shorter the journey the less chance of catastrophic failures along the way, so to spice things up a little, we’re adding a few challenges we have to complete along the way.
- Spell out the name of the car’s manufacturer with Towns, taking photographs along the way to prove that we were there – to make this extra fun, do it in order.
- If the car we buy is a 4×4, spend 20 miles on green laning.
Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? I’m sure it will be, until we buy our first Peugeot.

That’s all we’ve come up with so far… we’re open to suggestions!
